Bayshill vs St Mary's

Colonel Mustard reports from the Garrison, St Mary’s on Bays latest match

St Mary‘s won the toss and batted on a pitch full of the joys of plastic. Russ was dismissed on 19 by Saunders, back in the land of the living after a day in the outer reaches of the universe, after a single night with a tasty Mermaid.

Kev made 36 before Van Dyke ‘did him’ before. Then Danger Man Franco, St Mary’s best batsman, was out to a sharp stumping by Steve Liley (VP No1) off Nobster’s bowling. St Marys finished on 126, a few more than the Bayshill might have wanted.

Jamie Liley impressed with 4 overs for just 21. Saunders P going for one more, but with a wicket. The Kraken Rhys took 2 for 18 with some tidy if painful bowling for the keeper. At least the bruises are paired.

In reply Bays made 111 from their 20. Horner made a cultured 50 at a run per ball. Van Dyke joined in the fun, making 38 before retiring hurt. Only 3 wickets were lost – Liley S & J completing the innings both not out.

Another loss, but at least Wally was relaxing on his platform.?
