After relatively low scores of 162, 164, and 163 in the last three Bayshill matches, setting a total of 155 off 40 seemed a tad optimistic.

In reply, only Overton passed twenty with a controlled 57. Tom Liley dismissed him, clean bowled, hitting the top of middle stump, sending one bail some 30 yards behind. Before this, it looked as though Northleach may just make their target. Alex Van Dyke just missed out on a hat trick, finishing with 3 for 22. Mike Harding, Fran Stirrup and Tom Liley all took 2 wickets with Tom going for just 10 off 7.3 overs, including 3 maidens. Steve Liley took two catches behind.
